Associated Press Awards

We don't publish a newspaper to win awards, but it is nice to be recognized.The staff has won more than 200 awards during the past seven years. Our staff won 30 Associated Press awards for work published in 2001, 23 in 2000 , 18 in 1999 and 29 in 1998. If we may toot our own horn a bit, The Daily Home has won the most AP awards of any newspaper in the state on several occasions. We also have a good collection of Alabama Press Association awards.
