My husband was bush hogging along a creek bottom when he spotted something he was almost going to run over. It was a fawn. Being from Kansas, he wasn't thinking there would be fawns in late July. He went around the fawn, who only looked at the tractor and did not get up from the place its mother had left it. My husband then passed it three more times to finish mowing. When I arrived home from work I went to find the baby fawn and it was exactly where he had seen it two hours earlier.
