One day last week, we woke up to a strange but distantly familiar sound. After examining our memory, we realized it was something we once knew very well — rain. We had not seen rain in more than three months. We were excited for a little while, but a little rain is enough. The clouds hung around and rained once more during the night two days later, but now they're gone and the beautiful blue skies have returned.
