My 5-year-old cousin, Graham Stowe, from Greer, S.C., recently spent a few days visiting our beautiful area with his mom, Lori Stowe, and brand-new baby sister, Mallory Kate. This photo perfectly reflects the true meaning of "dog days of summer" as he and our 3-year-old Lab, Zoe, chill out a bit in the pool. This is Zoe's favorite thing to do on a hot day — she gets up by herself! She was generous enough this day to share with her cousin.
