Summer in the South NEXT | START OVER | PREVIOUS The date palm had a good crop of fruit. These are the third bunch to ripen on this tree. They are stringy and I did not like the taste, but the bugs and butterflies seem to love them. I noticed a squirrel and some chipmonks also taking advantage of the abundant fruit. Submit a picture.
