White-Tipped Black moth, Melanchroia chephise, a day-flying moth whose larvae have infested my Jacob's Coat (a.k.a. Snow On The Mountain) to the point that every leaf has been devoured. The moth is feeding upon the flowers of the native Fiddlewood tree, Citharexylum spinosum, which I have seen described as "the lilac of the South" because of its fragrance.
