Summer in the South NEXT | START OVER | PREVIOUS A female Gulf Fritillary, Agraulis vanillae, finally gets a sip of nectar. She was struggling against a stiff headwind, straining forward to reach the Zinnia. Finally, the wind let up a bit and she was able to get a foothold.
