Summer in the South NEXT | START OVER | PREVIOUS I found this baby tree frog sitting on top of my Surinam Cherry hedge. Notice that it is yellowish green and transparent when sitting on the light green leaves (blending in with the color of the leaf and the stems), and when it is sitting on the new (purple) growth, the frog mimics that same shade of purple.
