Another shot of a baby Katydid on Orange Cestrum, Cestrum auranticum. This is a macro shot, so you can imagine how small the little Katydid is. Notice that the antennae stretch all the way from the creature's location to the flower on the far right of the picture four times the length of its body. I can't imagine why such long antennae would be an advantage can you imagine going around with two antennae 22 feet long or more on your head?
