This Aechmea Bromeliad, Aechmea dichlamydea, has a very long (3 feet at least) inflorescence where the blue and white florets
spiral around the central red stalk or stem. If you position the camera at the end of the inflorescence and look straight along
the stalk, you get a picture like this one. Just about every floret is in view because they are positioned in a spiral around
the main stem.
