Autumn In The Air NEXT | START OVER | PREVIOUS These are two of the Monarchs I raised from caterpillars. They came out of their chrysalises on Sept. 16, while Hurricane Ivan was storming across Alabama, so I had to keep them inside until the next morning. After I released them, six of them stayed in my yard for several more days. When I went out to the garden, they would fly around my head and sometimes land on my hair or shirt.
