Mid-morning, March 27, 1994: A funnel cloud drops from an angry sky and deals destruction and death in a broad swath across northeast Alabama. Much of its fury is directed at the Goshen community, where 20 die in the Goshen United Methodist Church as the congregation holds its Palm Sunday service.
