The Star's award-winning photographers now have a work space that matches their achievements. Here, Star photographer Bill Wilson shoots a portrait in the studio accessible through the photo "lab." Lab work is all digital now. Photographer Kevin Qualls processes his shots by downloading them to a computer. The 600-square-foot studio and lab are designed to accelerate the expanding role of visual media. It is not by coincidence that the Photo studio is directly across the hall from the Online department.
