Star editorial cartoonist Leilah Alexandra Rampa is a native of Chur, Switzerland. She graduated from high school at Sekundarschule Quader in 1998 in Chur before moving to Rainbow City, Ala., where she attended Westbrook Christian School as an exchange student. She was awarded a full tuition in-state art scholarship to Jacksonville State University where she graduated magna cum laude in 2003.
Her art has won awards in juried shows. She was included in Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges for 2003. Her varied experience includes illustrating a children's coloring book to Web design projects.
