• Halloween carnival, 5:30-8 p.m., Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 Parkwood Drive, games, activities, food and more, the Rev. La’Noah Ealy is pastor.

• Fall festival, 6-7 p.m.; Trunk or Treat, 7 p.m., Hatcher Avenue Baptist Church, Jacksonville.

• Neighborhood Halloween Party for all ages, 6-8 p.m., First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1327 Leighton Ave. at 14th Street. Fun activities, costume contests, door prizes, hot dogs, chili and chips will be featured. Call 256-236-1316 for more information.

• Lobsterfest 2012, noon-7 p.m., sponsored by Grace Episcopal Church, 1000 Leighton Ave., Anniston, to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Calhoun County. Lobster meals must be purchased in advance. Full meal $22, lobster only $16. Tickets may be purchased from church members, from Habitat for Humanity staff and directors, or from the church office. • Annual fall festival, 4-6 p.m., First Baptist Church of DeArmanville, 4229 U.S. 78 E, door prizes, food, games and more will be featured.
