Saks Middle School held its Red Ribbon Week kick-off ceremony Oct. 19. As a symbolic gesture of the students’ pledge to be drug free, they launched 350 red balloons from the front steps of the school. Superintendent Joe Dyar, Director of ASAP Kelly Price, Deputy John Garlick of Calhoun County Sheriff’s office and Principal of Saks Elementary School Hector Baeza were guest speakers.
