The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), a Hispanic youth leadership development and educational organization in Washington, D.C., is hosting Angela Hernandez-Veloza of Munford, a student at the University of Alabama, along with 38 other university students from across the U.S. for its nationally recognized and highly competitive Congressional Internship program. Interns are responsible for conducting extensive legislative research, monitoring day-to-day hearings, managing constituent communications and assisting with general policy matters.
