Cassandra Tims, a 2012 graduate of White Plains High School, received a $1,000 Eugene Williamon college scholarship from the Over-the-Hill Gang at a recent banquet held at White Plains Baptist Church. She is the daughter of Lane and Tina Tims of DeArmanville and granddaughter of Mutt and Shirley Magouyrk of Weaver and Hugo and Charlsie Tims of Munford. She plans to attend Jacksonville State University in the fall. The scholarship was presented by Norman Parker.
