Wellborn Elementary School sixth-graders were awarded a certificate of completion upon successfully finishing a “Life Skills” class May 18.

The students learned how to make healthy decisions concerning tobacco, drugs, peer pressure, self-esteem, communication and stress management in their Life Skills classes. Jessica Breazeale, director of Tobacco Prevention at Family Links, went to the school on a weekly basis to teach the sixth-graders the importance of making healthy decisions.
