What's absent are reforms that would make Alabama's education system better, its taxes fairer, its public safer on the roads and in its homes, and, of course, the antiquated Constitution rewritten to better serve the state and its people.
Why were these left out?
A few weeks ago, this page observed that with a Republican victory possible in November, voters should look closely at what the GOP wants to do and judge party candidates accordingly.
