Anniston Star - Ban the sale of cigarettes

I am a longtime smoker who happens to enjoy smoking. I challenge any city that bans smoking to also ban the sale of cigarettes.

It will never happen. Therefore, in my opinion, any municipality or government that collects taxes from the sale of tobacco should also be held liable for any damages it may cause.

By the way, whatever happened to the tobacco companies' settlement with the state of Alabama? I haven't seen a penny of it.

Also, why not do this with alcohol? It should have been singled out long before tobacco use.
