HOOVER — Alabama coach Nick Saban wants to make sure everyone has their calendar right.

Saban said at SEC media days on Wednesday that he wants the focus to be on 2010, not last season's national championship run.

He says the Crimson Tide is not into defending titles or focusing on a second straight national championship.

Alabama is replacing 10 defensive starters from the championship game against Texas, but has most of its star offensive players returning.

That includes Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram. Saban says this could be the most important of his four fall camps at Alabama.

He also says that even if all the ingredients were returning it wouldn't mean the team would have the same chemistry.

Alabama opens practice on Aug. 5.
