Along with ceremonial events such as the playing of the national anthem and “Taps,” we will respectfully burn the hundreds of tattered and unserviceable flags that were collected during the year. This is the proper way to dispose of the American flag with dignity.
This is a great opportunity for children to witness the respect given the American flag.
