Robert Alexander Pyron
He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stony Brook University in New York, and has accepted a January 2011 position at George Washington University as the Robert F. Griggs assistant professor of biology in the Robert Weintraub Program in Systematics and Evolution, Biological Sciences.
He is the grandson of the late John W. Eros, originally from Anniston, and the great-grandson of the late Sue Boozer, formerly of Jacksonville.
He is the grandson of Charlotte Eros of Marietta, Ga., and Marlene Pyron of Mexico Beach, Fla., and the son of Greg and Elizabeth Eros Pyron of Demorest, Ga.
