Weems 50th anniversary

Tom and Liz Weems of Jacksonville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 21, 2010, at the Jacksonville State University Alumni House.

The event was hosted by their daughters.

Their children include Tammy Sallee of Jacksonville and Penny Jackson and husband Marty of Augusta, Ga.

Their grandchildren include Hunter Sallee of Jacksonville and McKinley Jackson of Augusta, Ga.

The couple was married Feb. 18, 1960, in Summerville, Ga.
