Awards: The Alexandria Varsity Cheerleaders recently returned from a National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) summer camp. The camp was held at Auburn University and attracted over 200 cheerleaders from the surrounding states. The cheerleaders received the following awards at camp: National Championship Bid Winner and Game Day Top Team Winner. The following cheerleaders were selected as NCA All-American Nominees: Danielle Burney, Kadyn Carroll, Sadie Dulin, Brittany Ford, Ashton Hester, Haley Muncher, Morgan Read, Whitley Shepard, Tiandra Tippins and Amber Usrey. The following cheerleaders were selected for the All-American Team: Haley Muncher, Kadyn Carroll and Danielle Burney.

Junior high football cheerleading squad: Kaley Baird, Bridgette Beegle, Lexi Burney, Kennedy Christjohn, Haley Ford, Brianna McGrue, Alana Needham, Jasmine Smith, Magan Staggs, Anna Thacker and Amanda Young.
Awards: The Alexandria Jr. High Cheerleaders recently attended a home camp taught by the Alexandria Varsity Cheerleaders. The cheerleaders learned a variety of cheers, chants, dances and stunts that will be used throughout both football and basketball seasons.
