Obama promised during his campaign to take the county in a "fundamentally different direction." He also said he would have a transparent administration. He is doing his best to deliver on the first item and has already accomplished the second, although not in the manner of telling us the truth about every detail of legislation.
His actions are making it crystal clear that his true goal is to stampede the country into socialism. President Roosevelt started us on a steady downhill slide towards socialism with his New Deal that has since been proven to have prolonged the Great Depression by about seven years and did nothing to reduce the unemployment rate.
Others have helped push us further down that hill, but Obama and his friends will not be content with that steady slide.
We the people must do our part and contact all our elected officials and demand that all future legislation adhere to the principles set forth by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution and in the spirit of the Declaration of Independence. We must demand that they simply do their job — to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
