The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Leon and Lorene Mitchell of Ashland and the late George and Dessie Bennett, formerly of St. Clair County.
Miss Bennett is a graduate of Clay County High School and Auburn University.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Robert and Dorothy Thompson of Haralson, Ga., and Donna Parker of Warm Springs and the late David Parker.
Mr. Parker is a graduate of Flint River Academy and Southern Union State Community College.
The wedding will be Nov. 14, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church in Warm Springs, Ga.
