Scouts honored: Group receives religious awards during Birmingham service

A group of Anniston Girl and Cub scouts received religious awards from Bishop Baker at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in Birmingham June 7 during a Scout Honor Mass.

Collin MacMullen of Cub Scout Den 7, Pack 9, received the Parvuli Dei medal. Lauren MacMullen, Michelle MeGill and Samantha Presson from Girl Scout Troop No. 20133 received the Mary, the First Disciple medal. They are all members of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Anniston.
