Friends of longtime Anniston Municipal Golf Course pro Buddy Moore are organizing a Buddy Moore Scramble, Aug. 29-30 at The Hill. Entry fee for the two-man scramble is $70 per player and must be paid by Aug. 26.

Moore was seriously injured in a car wreck in January. He has been the course's head pro since 1969.

There will be two shotgun starts, with the higher handicap flights going in the first wave.

For details, call Paul Wade at the Anniston Municipal pro shop (231-7631).
