The Jacksonville State University chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society held its 2009 initiation ceremony April 20 on the 11th floor of Houston Cole Library. Jennifer Leann Torruella, a junior from Jacksonville, was inducted into the honor society.

Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline honor society. Membership is by invitation only to the top 7.5 percent of juniors.
