A man was in Calhoun County Jail Friday after Anniston police charged him with a Jan. 31 robbery.

Tavaris Maurice “Big Boy” Patrick, 32, of the 300 block of Mulberry Street, was charged with first-degree robbery.

Police said he targeted a man in the parking lot near Wal-Mart on McClellan Boulevard.

Patrick came up behind a man, police said, claiming to have a gun.

He ordered the man into his car, where he robbed the man of cash and left, investigators said.
