Man jailed and charged with cutting another with razor blade

A man was in Calhoun County Jail Wednesday after Anniston police arrested and charged him with severely cutting another man May 3.

Jerry Lewis Gaddis, 30, of the 1500 block of Green Meadow Drive in Anniston, was charged with first-degree assault.

Police said he pushed the victim on the ground on the 600 block of West 15th Street before cutting him with a razor blade.

Gaddis' court date is June 19. His bond is $10,000.
