The Maj. Gen. Patrick R. Cleburne Chapter of the UDC Chapter 2632 asked area students to participate in the April Confederate History Month fourth-grade coloring contest, which included test questions after reading a story about a drummer boy in the war. The first-place winners received a monetary award and ribbon. The overall winner received an additional monetary award and a chance to participate in the Alabama Division of the United Daughters of Confederacy coloring contest.
