The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Bobbie Ashley of Centre and Gary and Velma Sigars of Las Vegas, Nev., and the late Bill and Frances Pollard of Piedmont.
Miss Pollard is a graduate of Cherokee County High School and Jacksonville State University. She is employed by Pell City School System.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mildred Worthy of Jacksonville and the late Travis Worthy, and the late Jack and Polly Green, formerly of Piedmont.
Mr. Green is a graduate of Piedmont High School and Jacksonville State University. He is employed by Jacksonville State University.
The wedding will be at 6 p.m. June 6 at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
