Anniston Star - Relay for Life

On April 4, Calhoun County Relay for Life held its first county-wide garage sale at McClellan Medical Mall. With the help of the Medical Mall and Federal Mogul, we were able to raise approximately $10,500 for the American Cancer Society.

I would like to thank the personnel at the Medical Mall and the folks with Federal Mogul for their participation in this successful event. Business partners and Relay teams show how Calhoun County can come together for a chance to make a difference in finding a cure for cancer.

Again, thanks to Calhoun County and the people who helped make this first Calhoun County Relay for Life Trade Day/Garage Sale successful. We look forward to doing this again next year. We can make a difference, one person at a time.
