We had registrants from all across the Southeast and as far away as Kentucky, Oklahoma and Montana. Proceeds from the show will be hand-delivered at no charge to the Greenville, S.C., Shriners Hospital to treat children with burns or orthopedic problems, and to assist the families.
We wish to thank everyone who helped make our show a success, especially Mayor Roy Adamson for his continued support. Thanks to the Lineville City Council and Park and Recreation Board for the use of th beautiful park, and to Rusty Taylor and crew for their help in maintaining the park.
To Police Chief Monty Giddens and staff for handling the large volume of traffic; Sheriff Ray Latham and his staff for their assistance; Clay County Health Department Inspector Dani Reams for checking our food vendors; Irvin Thompson and AGL for their donated time and equipment in collection of the trash; and our many sponsors who donated cash or items for prizes. Special thanks to Clay County Tire and First State Bank for their major contributions.
It would be impossible to host a show of this size without the help of so many. It is a tribute to the Volunteer County.
