White Plains High School hosted a Veterans Day assembly Nov. 7. The colors were presented by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Honor Guard to start the day’s festivities. Special music was performed by the high school band and choir. Student council president Joseph Dothard introduced the keynote speech from Army veteran Ms. Barb Berryman.
