Did you see the meteor shower that cross the Alabama sky last night?

If not, you're one of the few. The incident became instant Twitterbabble and sparked all sorts of online discussions as Monday night went on. The basics are this: A meteor traveling 76,000 mph disintegrated over the Alabama town of Woodstock, causing an impressive light show; plus, the sonic boom was, well, pretty dern loud. (Yes, that is the same Woodstock that caused Anniston's founders to select "Anniston" as the town's name back in the day; "Woodstock" was their first choice.)
