Anniston High School seniors who were honored by the Public Education Foundation of Anniston, Inc. (PEFA), at the 2012-2013 Kevin Thompson Teachers Project Award banquet held April 30 included, Kenya Frye, Brittany Gordon, Oprah Gray, Shelomith Gray, Jamia Haynes, Evonna Jordan and Secret Phillips. The Public Education Foundation of Anniston, Inc., (PEFA) sponsored the event. Dr. Pamela Fossett, of the Alabama Education Association in Montgomery, and their instructor, Mary White, presented cords to each of the seven graduates. In addition to PEFA providing tuition for dual enrollment at Jacksonville State University during their senior year, the participants were give book stipends to assist them as they pursue studies in education this fall.
