In researching how Andy Murray's big Wimbledon win was playing in Britain, we stumbled across a headline in a British newspaper announcing Lance Armstrong will take part in an official bike ride, his first since confessing in January that he used performance-enhancing substances will competing as a pro cyclist.

Armstrong will participate in the Des Moines Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, also known as RAGBRAI. Britain's Daily Mail reports the news this morning, though its headline says "Idaho" when it really means "Iowa." For the record, more than 1,000 miles separate the two states. According to Google Maps, that's about twice the distance between London and Aberdeen, Scotland.
