June 4: The 2013 Jacksonville Public Library Summer Reading Programs for all ages begins. “Dig into Reading” for children ages 0-11, “Beneath the Surface” for teens ages 12 and up, and “Groundbreaking Reads” for adults

June 5: Lunch Munch Movie at noon. Bring your lunch and enjoy the family friendly animated movie on the library’s big screen. Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot advertise the name of the movie, so call or come by to find out the title.

June 6: “Down on the Farm” Story Time and Crafts at 10 a.m. for children up to the age of 5, and 6 and up will enjoy great stories and an age appropriate craft or activity every Thursday morning!

June 7: Jacksonville Public Library Summer Reading Program Opening Event with Farmer Jason at 2.m. Get in the “mooood” with our opening program as we groove to Farmer Jason’s Nature Jams. Farmer Jason is an Emmy Award, Parents’ Choice Gold Award and the Los Angeles Times’ Children’s Record of the Year Award winner. www.farmerjason.com/
