Penny inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

Kaylann Nicole Penny, a 2012 graduate of Jacksonville High School and freshman at Wallace State Community College, was inducted into the Alpha Chi Tau Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Students who earn a 3.5 GPA for 12 or more hours are invited to join.

Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members. Wallace State’s chapter is a Five Star Chapter, the highest program level recognized by Phi Theta Kappa.

Nicole is on a volleyball scholarship with the Lady Lions of Wallace State where she is currently studying to a physical therapist.

Nicole is the daughter of Norma Penny of Jacksonville and Trent Penny of Piedmont.
