Faith Christian School Beta Club members participated in Read Across American March 1 by volunteering to read to a kindergarten class. The event was part of the United Way Readiness by 6 Program. The National Beta Club is an academic honor club whose motto is “Lead by serving others.”

The volunteers and the school they read for included, left to right, Rebecca Harvey, Tenth Street Elementary School; Madelyn Adams, DeArmanville Elementary School, Peyton Camp, DeArmanville Elementary School; Michael Harvey, Tenth Street Elementary School; Hallie Kulick, Kitty Stone Elementary School, Stephen Emerson, Kitty Stone Elementary School and London Huie, Norwood Head Start.
