The Christmas season has just passed and all the wrappings and presents will soon be forgotten. To the merchants, sales and money were their goals. To the children, presents were the idea of Christmas. To the parents, they are just glad it is over.

To the atheist and non-believer, they just Xmas-out Christ. They fight so hard against the truth they don’t believe in that it makes them look foolish. The war on Christmas this year has increased. Where are the pastors and godly men standing up for the Christ they believe in?

Sometimes we put God, like a token, on a shelf and only when tragedy in our lives comes that we want to pick Him up and cry out please help me now.

God is a merciful God and He will help us but it would be better to always live for Him. If Christ had not come to earth, we would all go to hell. Christ is the gift that we need. John 3:16 tells it all: For God so loved the world that He gave (gift) his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

When all is said and done, we need to put Christ back in Christmas. Jesus loves you.
