Anger and frustration abounds in the land. Why is it so? Look to the elected officials in our Capitol ensconced in their own divisive confrontations. The proposed and current laws being planned and foisted upon the citizens to abide by are part and parcel of the why this nation is so divided.
I have no answer to the dilemma facing this nation. In my humble opinion, I believe it will get much worse and it is not far from the realm of possibilities that this great nation will collapse from within as other nations past and present have done.
I still maintain my faith and pray (if the laws still allow) that my grandchildren and great-grandchildren will live in this nation akin to the one that I was privileged to come to as a young, legal immigrant boy. A nation divided will not stand. We are still the greatest nation on earth, but it is of paramount importance that we cure our own ills before we venture into foreign lands.
