Monday, Nov. 12, was another day of carnage on Greenbrier-Dear Road in Anniston. Every time it rains, the road becomes so slick that one or more vehicles will crash, requiring from one to three police cars, an ambulance and a fire truck. I appeal to our new City Council and to our street department to do something quickly before a life is lost on this dangerous road.
Also, I want to suggest that The Star put a complete article on one page instead of spreading it over two or three pages. The Veterans Day article on Frank Turner, one of our distinguished veterans, was an excellent one. Many times we want to cut out these articles and post them in our churches and have them in our files at home.
