Anniston Star - Remembering Anniston

This letter is late in being written but I still miss both Bama and Mary Alice Edwards. You were my maids (1952-1964) in Anniston. You both had a precious influence in my life.

Just wanted to let you know that Barack Obama was elected president of the United States in 2008 and he won a second term last week.

Barack Obama is a black American and a white American.

Mary Alice, today millions of people would not be resentful having to pay your Social Security.

You were both worth a million.
