The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Wesley Lamar; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Jones of Piedmont; the late Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Turner Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Lamar.
Miss Lamar is a 2008 graduate of Spring Garden High School. She is employed by Cherokee County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Robert Donaldson, Ms. Evelyn Holbrooks of Piedmont; the late Buddy Holbrooks; Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Gardner of Gadsden and the late Dorothy Gardner.
Mr. Donaldson is a 2002 graduate of Piedmont High School and a 2007 graduate of Alabama Fire College. He is employed by the City of Piedmont Fire Department.
The wedding will be held 1:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Piedmont.
