Mike has worked at the Opportunity Center for the past 34 years, serving as administrator most of that time.
School board members rule the future of education, and we must elect those who will remember why they are there. Mike believes in open communication with teachers. He appreciates their endeavors and hard work, and he is known for making himself available to parents to discuss the needs of their children and the schools.
He exemplifies the criteria for the job’s qualifications. He has demonstrated his strong beliefs in education, and with his integrity and patience, he has the ability to listen and make sound decisions. His enthusiasm and wisdom can continue to benefit education. He leads by example.
We have known him for more than 50 years. Thus, we ask you to please re-elect Mike to the Calhoun County Board of Education. He is a man who will lead our children and our schools in the right direction.
